Kimble Chase KIMAX 953760-0122 Borosilicate Glass Volumetric Flask, 125 ml Capacity

These Kimble Chase ULTRA-WARE Erlenmeyer-style flasks are manufactured from heavy-wall borosilicate glass to ensure the mechanical strength needed for vacuum filtration and have a KimCote plastic safety coating that reduces the hazards of shattered glass and leakage of toxic or corrosive chemicals. The coating is steam-autoclavable. The flasks have a rubber stopper joint neck and a side arm for connection to 3/8" ID flexible tubing. These flasks meet requirements for the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) E438, Type I, Class A, Standard Specification for Glass in Laboratory Apparatus, and the glass conforms to USP Type I requirements. They are made from 33 expansion borosilicate glass, which has a low coefficient of thermal expansion and very high resistance to chemical attack.
